Learning Wordpress
So, I have to admit that learning Wordpress has not been nearly as simple nor as worth my time as simply getting in on the "Blogger" and "Google Apps" bandwagon. I guess I had my hopes set to high. Or perhaps wordpress doesn't have the tools I'm looking for. I'm sure that' more of what it's all about. This week, I'll be talking with other worship leaders and meeting with team leaders who will be seeking logistical planning strategies for a community event. The plan is to use Google Apps as a project management site.
If WordPress has any tools to make my life run more simply, I'll take it...but I doubt I'll be holding my breath...it seems to be a Mac toy.
Maybe it's just me, but the church used to tell doomsday stories about how face-to-face communication would be all but extinct someday, and we told these stories like the internet revolution was a sin in God's eyes. Well, it's "upon us" now...so, Church, what are doing to meet the culture, ... "face to face?"
