5 Myths Regarding Church Copyrights
This is great stuff. I had to post it, and couldn't figure out where, but hopefully this is the best place that can benefit other churches as well as individuals.

I have been researching copyright details for churches for years, now, and it's so important that we shift from a "I might get caught and fined" mentality to a "God wants integrity from me" mentality. Non-compliance with US Copyright is disobedient to the laws of the land in which we live, and I'm sure we don't have to go into details on that one.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I hate copyright laws, and the selfishness it spurs, but I love musicians and their hard work, and I truly want to honor them financially for how they have blessed me and so many others.
Hope this helps. Grace and peace,
jeff
