Some Will Run...
Skeptics will say that we are living in the "fallout" from 9/11.
Idealists will say that things will turn around; the numbers aren't as bad as people say.
True Believers will see God doing something great, despite the math of it and they won't need proof.
So, where will you stand? In John 6:61-69, there's this great moment where Jesus talks about us "eating" his body and blood, knowing it would offend his staunch Jewish brothers. He proceeds to dig deeper by instigating a seemingly poorly-timed, popularity vote for himself. At which, many deserted Him. So, if the world we live in is a mess, and people are deserting at a rapid pace, and the world is not "in-line" with the way we think God wants it to be...will you be able to ignore the stats long enough to get your hands dirty and start sharing Jesus with our hurting world? Will you let the "end of the world" mentality destroy your sense of hope and cave to pessimism or hatred? Or will you desert Him, too? Yes, it's actually that simple, despite what some "Christians" may argue. Your call.
